![]() The very first Best Car in Show (2001) was this beautiful 1935 Singer Le Mans. This model LM38 was built in 1935 and prepared for the 1936 Monte Carlo Rally but did not compete. It was sold through a London dealer in 1936. It was bought in pieces in 1985 by the secretary of the Singer Owners' Club, local Great Casterton resident Martin Wray, who took 4 years to restore it to its present concours codition. A very worthy first winner. |
